The World is the end of a cycle. It is fulfillment. Completion, and joy.
Fruit that drips with sweet juice.
But the vision of a life well-lived is not the same as it used to be.
Today, The World may be a beach-side bungalow, part-timing as a bartender at the local tiki bar. Winters off, because all the tourists go home.
The World may be a weekend at the Electric Daisy Carnival, and then back in on Monday for scheduled surgery, and a 12 hour shift.
When you hold up the mirror, whatever stares back is the world that you've got.
Twist, turn, change the scenery if you like. But you're always at the center.
