My journey started with tarot cards. Then, as I dove deep into honing my abilities as a psychic-medium, and offering readings, the cards were a constant companion. I read for myself frequently, performed hundreds of readings online and in-person for others, and I also settled into a local crystal and herb shop as their resident tarot reader for half a year.
So why did I stop offering readings online? Why did I pack up my tarot cloth and cards and leave the local shop?
It’s not because I fell out of love with tarot. And it’s not because I don’t find value in working with the cards anymore. In fact, I have incredible admiration for readers, and I continue to value the possibilities that tarot can unfold for us. You can even read a little love letter waxing on the power of tarot that I put together for DumSpiroSpero.World - Oracle and Tarot Cards are More Than a Compass.
But for myself, things have changed. With a little soul searching, and a little bit of divine intervention, I’ve come to find that just because I can do tarot readings doesn’t mean it’s the best use of my time and talents. The role I’ve stepped into as a Spiritual Guide is one in which I have the most to offer. A beautiful testimonial I received helped me to realize this:
“When we were both getting ready to launch coaching programs, Raven and I traded sessions with each other. The session she gave me was unlike any other experience I’ve had under the coaching/counseling/therapeutic discussion umbrella. Within the first five minutes she blew my mind with this little epiphany, and the rest of the time she just LISTENED to me in a way few people are able to do, as I spilled all sorts of ridiculous things that had been lodged in my heart, because it felt safe to do so with her.
Talking to Raven or soliciting her advice in any way – I’ve gotten great readings from her when she still did them, and the Spirited Solutions she currently offers are like receiving a to-do list from the universe, which I was also very happy with – is like the universe is listening to you through her, and then that loving higher power that most of us wish actually existed, but we’re not much good at finding on our own, guides you through her. She’s a Spiritual Guide. And the reason I love Raven in particular, trust her, and value her so much is her personality, who she is as a person – kind, nonjudgmental, and with a great sense of humor. Nothing that I’ve ever run by her has been too ridiculous for her to entertain. And it is entertaining, so we have fun.”
I’ll continue to read tarot as long as I’m working with energy, symbolism, intuition, and archetypes. As someone who cares deeply about personal transformation and growth, tarot is my go-to tool. I can’t recommend it enough.
Go to tarot readers. Learn to read the cards for yourself. Study the rich history.
And while you do that, if you’d like to tap me for compassionate guidance, then I invite you to work with me one-on-one.
